These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Don's Cons website at donscons.com and any related games, services, or content (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Completely Legitimate Business Inc. Don's Cons is a free, browser-based, multiplayer party card game in the spirit of fill-in-the-blank humor games. The content is political satire and parody, including jokes, exaggerated quotes, and pointed commentary about public figures and public events. All content within the Service — including but not limited to the game name "Don's Cons," the logo, card designs, prompts, response cards, code, artwork, and overall look and feel — is the property of Completely Legitimate Business Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may play the game and share invite links to live games, but you may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any of our content without our prior written permission.
Quotes and statements attributed to public figures within the game's response cards are drawn from publicly reported sources and are used for purposes of commentary, criticism, and parody, which we believe constitutes fair use under U.S. copyright law.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The content of Don's Cons is satirical commentary and parody. Statements within the game's prompts and response cards should not be interpreted as factual claims by Completely Legitimate Business Inc. or by any quoted individual. References to public figures are used in their capacity as public figures and as the subjects of public reporting, in keeping with longstanding traditions of political satire.
